Our vision as a company is to create a stable foundation for our economies in the Southern Africa region by guaranteeing safety for all our citizens through provision of quality steel for all purposes, be it for construction, mining and agricultural purposes. We believe construction for all structures should be done once and for all and by providing quality steel, we are playing a critical role developing and sustaining the entire region.

We have positioned ourselves to be the leader in manufacturing steel in Zimbabwe, taking risks, researching and developing new products and responsibilities towards the communities we serve.

Strategic Goals

• To produce quality steel at affordable cost
  We have consistently supplied the market with affordable quality steel products over the years and we wish to retain that status. There are challenges however in our operating environment which includes shortages of foreign currency, cost escalation of raw material inputs, labour etc. Maintaining the set benchmark will be one of the greatest challenges for the core steel business.
  
• Upholding the Steelmakers’ pride for all our employees
  Our production is dependent on motivated employees and we treat them as the most important resource the company has. We will thrive to continuously improve the working environment to ensure a sense of belonging and personal growth. It is STEELMAKERS’ policy to continuously strive to deliver the best quality products and services at all times, complying with all statutory and customers requirement, through the adoption and implementation of ISO 9001: 2000 Quality management System (Q.M.S), by training and developing skills required to understand and accept the QMS philosophy, with a view to fulfill the quality objectives.
